For emergencies and nonemergency incidents while on an NREL campus, it's critical to follow procedures for the specific facility to ensure the health and safety of NREL workers.

Inform Nearby Workers, Stop Work, and Exit Area Immediately
Medical Emergency: Contact emergency responders.
Fire: Pull fire alarm. Evacuate.
Electrical Shock: Contact emergency responders. Escort worker to NREL clinic, if able.
Hazardous Materials Incident: Escort worker to eyewash, safety shower, or NREL clinic as appropriate.

Contact your line manager and the Environment, Safety, Health, and Quality point of contact, research operations manager, or facility manager for the area as soon as possible. In addition, report all injuries to the NREL Clinic.
