>>Nicholas Bell: It's not just about competing with each other. It's about learning from each other's research and ideas.
>>Andrew Fix: It's been very eye-opening to be able to see the facilities and meet the people that are actually here doing the research.
>>Susan Mon: It's a great opportunity for us to explore deeper into our interests in the buildings.

>>Kim Trenbath: JUMP Into Stem is a university student competition for both undergrad and graduate students to compete for challenges in the building sciences.
>>Carmen Cejudo: We want to make sure that we take into account other disciplines that may be impacting buildings.
>>Bill Eckman: To really tackle the challenges we see today and into the future one discipline's not going to do that. We need those broader perspectives.
>>Olugbemiga Olatidoye: JUMP Into Stem has given opportunity for my students to be exposed to the building sciences.
>>Carmen Cejudo: JUMP Into Stem is a great opportunity to network both with peers as well as professionals that are working in the building science Industry.
>>Nelson Fumo: It was a wonderful opportunity for me to think about a project that may be a contribution to the goals of the Department of Energy and for my students an additional excitement and an additional opportunity for them to do a better job in the project.
>>Nicholas Bell: What I enjoyed most was the amount of confidence I gained from doing this. Learning the real world aspects behind being an engineer.
>>Jonki Lee: We learned how to organize teamwork and how to make this something good.
>>Musa Salaam: It just, you know, it makes you want to stay the course because you see the outcome, and you just see: “Okay, yeah. This is what I want to do. This is for sure what I want to do.”
Use it as an opportunity to be creative, and take it as an opportunity to do a lot of reading and to just think outside the box and just try something.
>>Susan Mon: So, I'm excited to see how we can lower the carbon emissions. I'm excited to be a part of it.
