REopt Clean Energy Goals (Text Version)

This is the text version of the video REopt Clean Energy Goals.

This video helps users change clean energy parameters in REopt.

[Screen scrolls down REopt website to Step 1: Choose Your Energy Goals]

[Mouse selects the “Clean Energy” goal]

Check the Clean Energy box.

[Screen scrolls down and selects “Renewable Energy & Emissions”]

Change the Emissions Costs selection so that REopt considers the “true cost” of climate emissions in the value of the renewable energy system.

[Screen scrolls down and selects “Clean Energy Goals”]

Choose a clean energy target.

By typing in “50” into the minimum annual renewable electricity box, this goal will produce a system that provides 50% of the facility’s annual energy through renewable sources.
