Drive Cycle Data
NREL provides drive cycle data for cleansed data surveys/studies that include second-by-second data collection from vehicles with global positioning systems (GPS).
The data are grouped by vehicle day (24-hour period of operation) and have passed through NREL's drive cycle processing and GPS data filtering routines. Researchers developed the routines to filter erroneous data points in individual drive cycles sourced from GPS devices mounted in vehicles.
For details on available data and variable definitions, see the drive cycle data dictionary.
Transportation data are available as zipped files. Download Winzip.
